90 Feet High New Holy Flag Pole (Shri Jhande Ji) Brought at Shri Darbar Sahib Amidst Sky-Echoing Praise Slogans of Shri Guru Maharaj Ji

On 16th March 2025, Sunday, the Sangat devotees reached Shri Darbar Sahib with the 90 fts. High new holy flag pole (Shri Jhande Ji) amidst sky echoing praise slogans of Shri Guru Ram Rai ji Maharaj and Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj. To witness this sacred occasion, Sangat devotees from India and abroad reached Shri Darbar Sahib, Dehradun in thousands of numbers. At 6:30 a.m. in the morning Sangat devotees started reaching Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School, Bombay Bagh early in the morning at 6:30 a.m. At SGRR Public School, Bombay Bagh, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj gave his sacred appearance (darshan) to the Sangat devotees and showered his divine blessings over them. Under the mentorship of Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj, the Sangat devotees recited the Ardas (holy prayer) and at 8:00 a.m., the Sangat devotees lifted the new Shri Jhande Ji (the new holy flag pole) on their shoulders and marched towards Shri Darbar Sahib.  On reaching Shri Darbar Sahib premises, the Sangat devotees danced on the melodious sound of musical instruments drum (dhol) and ngare.
On Sunday morning, the whole area of Pathri Bagh turned to spiritual. 
As soon as the Sangat devotees lifted the new Shri Jhande Ji (the holy flag pole) on their shoulders amidst faith, enthusiasm and pleasure, the whole area echoed with sky touching praise slogans of Shri Guru Ram Rai Ji Maharaj, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj and Shri Jhnade Ji. The Sangat devotees walked with new Shri Jhande Ji (the holy flag pole) from Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School, Bombay Bagh to THDC Chowk, then in front of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and reached Lal Pul Chowk. From there, the Sangat Devotees walked towards Matawala Bagh, Saharanpur Chowk and reached Shri Darbar Sahib at 9:30 a.m. with new Shri Jhande Ji (the holy flag pole). Throughout the route, the Doonites welcomed the Sangat devotees with faith with flowers in their hands. Thousands of Doonites had been waiting with utmost enthusiasm and faith to witness this historical and sacred occasion. The Doonites very warmly welcomed the Sangat devotees coming with the new Shri Jhande Ji (the holy flag pole) all along the way with the shower.
The Doonites raised praise slogans of Shri Guru Maharaj Ji along the whole route when Sangat devotees carried new Shri Jhande Ji (the holy flag pole) towards Shri Darbar Sahib. The Doonites welcomed the Sangat devotees with unmatched enthusiasm and refreshment for the Sangat devotees throughout the route. 
It’s worth mentioning that the new holy flag pole (Shri Jhande Ji) has been made of the wood of ‘Sal’ tree. For the last two months, many artists were busy preparing the new Shri Jhande Ji at Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School, Bombay Bagh. 
 In concern with the historic Shri Jhande Ji fair, the sequence of arrival of the Sangat devotees has rapidly gained momentum at Shri Darbar Sahib. This year the new holy flag pole (Shri Jhande Ji) will be raised at the Shri Darbar Sahib premises. From Saturday late evening only, the premises of Shri Darbar Sahib became hustle and bustle. Thousands of Sangat devotees from Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarkhand and nearby states reached Shri Darbar Sahib on Saturday evening. 
Under the mentorship of Sajjadanashin (spiritual superior of the shrine) of Darbar Shri Guru Ram Rai Ji Maharaj, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj, the Sangat devotees started moving from Shri Darbar Sahib at 6 a.m. in the morning on Sunday. With the praise slogans of Shri Guru Ram Rai Ji Maharaj, the Sangat devotees danced on the melodious rhythm of musical instruments drum (dhol) and ngare and the whole of the Doon Valley turned gurumai (lighted with the godly grace of Shri Guru Ram Rai Ji Maharaj)         
In this message, Shri Mahant Devendra Das ji Maharaj said that the fair of Shri Jhande ji is a fair that delivers a message of love, peace, harmony, brotherhood, faith and humanity. In the fair, people of all religions reach to take the divine blessings of Shri Maharaj ji. Just like every year, this year also Shri Jhande ji fair will be celebrated with utmost enthusiasm and faith.
THE HISTORIC SHRI JHANDE JI FAIR WILL START FROM 19TH MARCH 2025 
On 19th March 2025, the holy flag pole (Shri Jhande Ji) will be ascended. With this, the Shri Jhande ji Fair will begin. Under the mentorship of Sajjadanashin of Shri Darbar Sahib, Shri Mahant Devendra Dass ji Maharaj, on 19th March, the new holy flag pole (new Shri Jhande ji) will be ascended. According to Shri Darbar Sahib, Sangat devotees in lakhs of numbers are about to reach Shri Darbar Sahib to witness this holy occasion and fair. The Chief Manager of Shri Jhande Ji Mela Organizing Committee, Madhusudan Semwal informed that Shri Darbar Sahib has made adequate arrangements for the stay of the Sangat devotees. Sufficient arrangements have been made at the various Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School branches like Talab, Bindal, Patel Nagar, Bhandari Bagh, Raja Road, etc. Besides this, the various ‘Dharamshalas’ of Dehardun have also been booked for the stay of Sangat devotees. Around a dozen ‘langar’ (holy feast) places have also been prepared. In order to ensure the security arrangements, the ‘Mela Thana’ (Police Station for the Fair) and Mela Aspatal (Fair Hospital) will also soon come into being.
